Stopping By

This is an 11 x 14 oil on a panel. It's around the area where I live. I've had the reference for a long time and even painted a smaller version, but it was when I cropped the reference close up that I fell in love with the scene. To me, it depicted a friend stopping by for a visit - a stranger would have parked in the lane.

Another magnificent scene, Joani, heightened by an equally impressive sky. I love how you handle your colors.

Thank you, Terry! I attempt to use other palettes, but love my main “go to” hues.
